課程概述 |
This course is designed to introduce students the basic concenpts and different catagories of risk communications (RC). Based the communication contexts, RC can be classified into crisis, care, and consensus communications. Although differences, methods, timing, and objectives of RC will be discussed, this course will spend more time on consensus communication. Particularly, examples of the controversial issues in food safety and environmental protection will be used to explain how to conduct consesnsus communication. |

Group project, and progress and final oral and written reports. |
